Job summary

PayPal is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to drive U.S. indirect tax strategy and compliance. You will advise on sales & use, personal property, and gross receipts taxes, collaborate with Tax, Finance, Legal, Product, and AP, and manage audits across affiliates.

The role reports to the Director of Indirect Tax - Americas and contributes to building sustainable tax strategies and ongoing tax process improvements worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 7+ years indirect tax experience with expertise in sales & use tax.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience leading others and working cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax matters across multiple jurisdictions and tax types.
• Lead audits and coordinate with tax authorities and consultants.
• Provide timely tax guidance to Finance, Product, and Business stakeholders.
• Support tax provision accounting and policy development.
