Job summary

PayPal is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to lead US indirect tax strategy and compliance. You will advise on sales & use, personal property, and gross receipts taxes, support audits, and guide cross-functional teams across Finance, Legal, Product, and AP.

Reporting to the Director of Indirect Tax - Americas, you’ll help build scalable tax processes, evaluate new products, and ensure timely tax guidance to business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of indirect tax experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience leading others
• Proficiency with indirect tax software and research tools listed
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with tax leadership to evaluate tax impacts of business initiatives.
• Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
• Support audits and interactions with tax authorities.
