Job summary

PayPal is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager to support the U.S. indirect tax strategy, compliance, and advisory work. You will collaborate with Tax, Finance, Legal, Product, and AP teams to manage audits, research evolving tax developments, and deliver timely guidance to business partners.

The role reports to the Director of Indirect Tax – Americas and sits within a global Indirect Tax team focused on sustainable tax operations and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of sales and use tax rules across multiple states.
• Experience leading tax audits and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to interpret indirect tax law and provide practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support audits of sales/use tax, property tax, and gross receipts.
• Deliver timely tax guidance to Finance, Product, and Business teams.
• Coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to resolve audit findings.
