Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the Detection & Response team in San Francisco. You will own the incident management lifecycle from detection to post-incident review, driving systemic improvements across engineering, security, infrastructure, and product teams.

You will lead incident commander rotations, coordinate with executives and stakeholders, and ensure actionable follow-through on both tactical fixes and strategic changes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, incident management, or security operations.
• Led or built incident response programs in a technology company with growth or security intensity.
• Able to drive cross-functional action and improvements from incident data.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end D&R incident management program: detection workflows, response, escalation, and remediation tracking.
• Serve as incident commander for security incidents and coordinate with executives, engineering, security, legal, and others.
• Lead post-incident reviews, drive root-cause analysis, and ensure systemic improvements are implemented.
• Develop incident documentation, playbooks, and training materials; keep them current with evolving threats.
• Define and track incident management KPIs and report to D&R and Security leadership.
• Partner with detection engineering to improve alert fidelity and reduce noise.
