Qualifications

5–7+ years in import/export with customs compliance.
Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regs, HTS codes, and global trade compliance.
Experience with CargoWise One preferred.
Ability to coordinate with regulators, brokers, and agencies.

Responsibilities

Oversee import operations including customs clearance and compliance.
Prepare and submit Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, ISF filings.
Coordinate with brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and government agencies to resolve clearance issues.
Monitor tariff classifications and duty management; apply FTAs to minimize costs.
Train junior staff on customs procedures and compliance.
