Job summary

Axon 911 is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead mission-critical cloud deployments for public safety agencies across the country. You’ll drive projects from kickoff to go-live, coordinating engineering, implementation, and customer teams to ensure timely, quality results.

In this role you’ll balance deep technical oversight with strong leadership, building trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders while enabling successful system integrations and smooth production

Qualifications

• PMP or CAPM certification is required.
• 5+ years managing global technical projects, preferably in B2B SaaS/IT/cloud services.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through cloud or hybrid deployments.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure).
• Ability to translate customer needs into actionable technical plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of cloud-based platforms, including configuration, testing, and go-live support.
• Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to implement scalable IT solutions for public safety.
• Create/manage project and technical implementation plans (infra readiness, data flows, failover testing).
• Coordinate with DevOps, R&D, and Solution Architects to align product capabilities with deployment requirements.
• Manage expectations across stakeholders, resolve issues, and ensure milestone delivery.
• Facilitate system handovers to customer IT teams and lead onboarding/training where required.
• Identify post-deployment support needs and opportunities for add-on services.
