Job summary

Okta is seeking a hands-on Deployment Consultant in Fort Meade, MD to lead customer deployments, gather requirements, and drive outcomes. You will work with Customer Success, Engineering, and Sales to ensure long-term success and seamless post-deployment transitions.

You will design and deploy Okta solutions, mentor customers, and contribute to process improvements while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of technical consultant experience delivering solutions to external customers.
• Experience with identity federation protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, WS-Federation).
• Ability to work independently and multi-task across customer engagements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple customer deployment projects with focus on long-term success.
• Provide hands-on design, configuration, and troubleshooting of Okta services.
• Mentor customers and coordinate with Engineering and Support.
• Collaborate with Sales on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
