Job summary

Keysight is seeking an IC Test Engineer to support on-wafer MMIC characterization and automated test development in Santa Rosa, CA. You will craft test plans, write automation code, run functional tests, and analyze results to ensure high-performance ICs meet stringent specifications.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, collaboration with design and process teams, and continuous improvement in test methodologies. A strong background in RF/mm-wave testing and programming is required.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field with MM-wave IC characterization.
• 3+ years of RF characterization and IC testing experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, and Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Test Development: design and develop test plans and procedures for ICs and write code for test automation.
• Test Execution: perform functional tests and characterization on ICs using custom test stations.
• Data Analysis: analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies and issues and provide detailed reports.
• Debugging: troubleshoot test failures with design and process teams to resolve issues.
• Continuous Improvement: drive process improvements to enhance test efficiency.
• Documentation: maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, results and corrective actions.
