Job summary

Cencora is seeking an experienced IAM engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM platforms with a strong emphasis on automation, AI-enabled identity services, and scalable architectures. You will partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to deliver modern IAM solutions aligned with Zero Trust initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of IAM related experience in platform engineering, software development, cybersecurity or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on IAM automation via scripting, APIs, or IaC.
• Experience with enterprise IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, ForgeRock).
• Experience developing solutions using scripting languages and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of identity standards (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, JWT).
• Experience supporting SSO, MFA, PAM, IGA, and Zero Trust initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Designs, engineers, and enhances enterprise IAM platforms with emphasis on automation and AI-enabled identity services.
• Develops scalable identity architectures to improve security and user experience across workforce and privileged access.
• Creates API-driven integrations and automation for provisioning, deprovisioning, and access reviews.
• Leverages AI-powered tools to improve identity governance, entitlement management, and security monitoring.
• Documents architectures, standards, and runbooks for scalable IAM ecosystems.
• Collaborates with security, cloud, and application teams to implement SSO, MFA, PAM, and IGA.
