Job summary

Cencora seeks an experienced IAM Architect to lead architecture, automation, and modernization of enterprise IAM across the organization. The role focuses on AI-enabled automation, identity orchestration, and Zero Trust security in hybrid cloud and SaaS environments.

You will advise security leadership, design scalable IAM architectures, and mentor engineers while driving strategic modernization initiatives in identity governance and access management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in IAM, platform engineering, or cybersecurity.
• Experience designing IAM automation using APIs and scripting.
• Hands-on with SailPoint, Okta, Entra ID, Ping or equivalent.
• Automation using PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Terraform, REST.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of enterprise IAM platforms for identities and access.
• Architect automation to streamline identity lifecycle and privileged access.
• Develop API-driven integrations and identity orchestration workflows.
• Incorporate AI/ML to support identity analytics and risk scoring.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and app teams to embed automated controls.
