Job summary

Cencora is seeking an experienced IAM Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade identity and access management solutions. You will lead automation efforts, integrate with cloud services, and help advance Zero Trust initiatives across the organization.

This role requires hands-on experience with IAM platforms, strong scripting skills, and collaboration with security, cloud, and application teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT or related field.
• 4+ years in IAM, platform engineering, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on IAM automation using scripting, APIs, and workflow orchestration.
• Experience with enterprise IAM platforms (SailPoint, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, etc.).
• Experience with automation tech: PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Terraform, REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, JWT.
• Experience supporting SSO, MFA, PAM, IGA, and ITDR solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and maintains enterprise IAM platforms for secure, scalable auth.
• Develops automation for identity lifecycle: provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews.
• Creates API-driven integrations and identity orchestration workflows.
• Leverages AI-powered tools to improve access governance and threat detection.
• Analyzes telemetry and logs to identify risks and optimize service delivery.
• Documents architectures, standards, and runbooks for IAM ecosystems.
• Collaborates across security, cloud, and apps teams to drive Zero Trust.
• Validates upgrades and controls in dev/test before production.
• Evaluates new IAM/AI tech for innovation and risk reduction.
• Provides technical leadership and mentorship on IAM best practices.
