Job summary

Cencora is seeking an experienced IAM Architect to lead architecture, automation strategy, and modernization of enterprise IAM platforms across hybrid environments. You will drive AI-enabled capabilities, orchestrate identity governance, and design secure, scalable identity services while mentoring teams and aligning with security leadership.

The role focuses on SSO, MFA, Zero Trust, IAM automation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver secure access at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in IAM, platform engineering, or cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience designing and deploying IAM automation using APIs, scripting, or automation platforms.
• Hands-on experience with leading IAM tooling (SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Entra ID, Ping Identity, CyberArk, ForgeRock, BeyondTrust).

Responsibilities

• Leads the strategic design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise IAM platforms for workforce, privileged, and customer identities.
• Architects automation for identity lifecycle, access provisioning, deprovisioning, and compliance reporting.
• Designs API-driven integrations and IaC to improve scalability and reduce manual effort.
• Evaluates AI/ML capabilities within IAM for anomaly detection and identity risk scoring.
• Partners with security operations, cloud, and application teams to embed automated identity controls.
