Job summary

Allstate leads with protection and innovation. The Systems Engineer Lead Consultant Identity & Authentication role drives design, research, and maintenance of IAM across hybrid environments, leveraging PowerShell, IaC, and security best practices.

You will lead incident prevention, root cause analysis, and collaboration across cross-functional teams while mentoring engineers and delivering secure, scalable identity solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IAM experience in complex hybrid environments.
• Advanced ADDS/ADFS/Entra ID/ADCS and Hybrid Identity.
• PowerShell scripting, automation, APIs, IaC.
• Experience with LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, WS-Federation, cert-based authentication.
• GPO, DNS, WSUS, and SCOM in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of identity security, Zero Trust, and identity governance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead major changes for network hardware/software components to prevent incidents.
• Resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis; escalate high complexity issues.
• Lead efforts to ensure integration with other hardware/software components.
• Support production service requests and change execution.
• Develop and maintain tools for maintaining, modifying, and monitoring components.
• Lead implementation of moderately complex components after environment analysis.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance analysis of components.
• Collaborate to ensure compatible systems and data conversion impacts are addressed.
