Job summary

Allstate Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to lead design, configuration, and support of enterprise IAM solutions across critical applications and services.

You will work with IBM Verify Identity Access, IBM Verify Access, ISAM, PAIC, PingAccess, PingFederate, and similar tools to deliver secure, scalable access management. The role includes mentoring team members and shaping product strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting IAM solutions.
• Hands-on experience with one or more web access management platforms such as IVIA/IV Access/ISAM or similar.
• Experience configuring vendor software for authentication, authorization, and secure access.
• Experience implementing SSO, federation, and access management for enterprise apps.
• Experience scripting automation using JavaScript, Python, Groovy, YAML, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and federation concepts.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and support of enterprise IAM solutions.
• Develop technical designs addressing complex access needs and security objectives.
• Configure IAM platforms for authentication, authorization, and SSO.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to deliver secure access solutions.
• Refine user stories and coach team members learning the platform.
• Facilitate feature reviews and document key decisions.
• Create functional designs for complex processes and integrations.
• Support testing, issue resolution, and production troubleshooting.
• Manage issues and risks to deliver product features on time.
• Evaluate vendor releases and identify platform improvements.
• Provide training and knowledge sharing to strengthen the team.
