Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Senior Identity & Access Management Engineer to lead deployment and support of enterprise IAM solutions across applications. You will design, configure, and optimize vendored access management platforms, partner with security, infrastructure, and business teams, and mentor junior staff.

The ideal candidate has hands-on IAM platform experience, including SSO and federation, scripting for automation, and strong collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting IAM solutions.
• Hands-on with enterprise web access management platforms (IVIA/ISAM/PAIC/etc.).
• Experience configuring vendor software for access management and SSO.
• Experience with SSO, federation, and enterprise access control.
• Automation scripting to map integrations (JavaScript, Python, Groovy, YAML, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC and federation concepts.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate to designs.
• Experience testing modules, integrations, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to lead discussions, organize reviews, document decisions.
• Experience with vendor support processes and defect resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support design, configuration, enhancement, and support of IAM solutions with focus on vendored platforms.
• Develop designs addressing complex business requirements and security objectives.
• Configure and maintain IAM platforms supporting SSO, federation, and access control.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, security, infrastructure, and vendors to deliver secure access.
• Create and refine user stories; mentor team members learning the platform.
• Lead feature review sessions; capture decisions and align business/tech teams.
• Create functional designs addressing business processes and integrations.
• Plan, execute, and review module/integration testing for features.
• Manage issues, blockers, defects, and risk resolution for features.
• Review vendor releases; assess impact and improvements.
