Job summary

ENERCON is seeking Senior and Principal Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) SMEs to join our Nuclear Services Design Group. The role supports modernization and operation of nuclear facilities with opportunities in offices across Chicago and other cities.

You will lead engineering packages, analyses, and procurement reviews, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with clients to deliver safe, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (BSCSE), or related field/experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of I&C engineering experience, with significant nuclear industry exposure.
• Experience in design, installation, and testing of large-scale digital control and computer monitoring system upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on complex engineering projects for modernization and operation of nuclear facilities.
• Develop Engineering Change Packages (ECPs) to upgrade obsolete systems with modern digital I&C.
• Support test plans and detailed test instructions; perform FMEA and uncertainty analyses.
