Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Design Group invites Senior and Principal Instrumentation & Controls SME to join the team in multiple U.S. locations, including Kennesaw, GA.

You'll lead digital I&C upgrades, develop technical packages, and help modernize nuclear facilities while ensuring safety and reliability. You should have 6+ years in I&C engineering, experience with test plans, and knowledge of digital platforms, regulatory standards, and cyber security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of I&C engineering experience in the nuclear industry.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with test plans and detailed test instructions.
• Experience in design, installation and testing of large-scale digital control and computer monitoring upgrades.
• Involvement across the digital upgrade life cycle including feasibility studies and procurement specs.
• Knowledge of regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards.
• Understanding of digital I&C hardware/software components and HSIs.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Travel 15-25%; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Engineered Change Package (ECP) development to upgrade obsolete I&C systems.
• Supporting test plans, instructions, and detailed analyses (FMEA, reliability).
• Develop procurement specs and review OEM documentation for digital platforms.
• Collaborate with project teams, provide estimates, and manage activities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with applicable digital I&C standards.
