Job summary

ENERCON is seeking Senior and Principal Instrumentation & I&C SMEs to join our Nuclear Services Design Group. You will lead complex engineering projects, upgrade digital I&C systems, and support testing, documentation, and regulatory compliance across multiple U.S. locations.

You will mentor engineers, develop ECPs, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, reliable nuclear facility operation and modernization progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of I&C engineering experience in nuclear industry.
• Experience with test plans and detailed test instructions.
• Experience upgrading digital I&C systems and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• ECP development to replace obsolete analog I&C with modern digital systems.
• Testing plans and detailed test instructions execution and analysis (FMEA, reliability, drift).
• Develop specifications for procurement of computer-based I&C systems and review OEM documentation.
• Provide project estimates, attend meetings, and coordinate with teams and clients.
• Apply regulatory standards and ensure compliance for digital I&C upgrades.
