Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks Senior and Principal Instrumentation & Controls SMEs to join its Nuclear Services Design Group in the U.S. This role provides technical leadership on modernization and operation of nuclear facilities, including engineering packages and analyses.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in nuclear I&C, experience with digital upgrade projects, and willingness to travel 15–25%. Some roles may be remote; mention of U.S. citizenship is required for contract eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in I&C engineering for nuclear facilities or equivalent.
• Experience with development of test plans and detailed test instructions.
• Proven ability to upgrade analog I&C to digital computer-based systems in nuclear plants.
• Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards for digital upgrades.
• Willingness to travel 15–25% of the time.
• U.S. citizenship is required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on complex engineering projects for modernization and operation of nuclear facilities.
• Develop engineering packages, perform technical analyses, and support testing activities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to the safety, reliability, and performance of facilities.
• Support regulatory compliance and project budgeting/scheduling.
