Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks Senior and Principal Instrumentation & Controls SMEs to join the Nuclear Services Design Group in Chicago, IL. You will provide technical leadership on complex I&C projects, supporting modernization and operation of nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities include developing engineering packages, performing analyses, testing, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Requires 10+ years in I&C and travel 15–25%; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (BSCSE), or related field in Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of I&C engineering experience, with significant experience with computer-based platforms in the nuclear industry (preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with development of test plans and detailed test instructions.
• Experience in the design, installation, and testing of large scale digital control and computer monitoring system upgrades.
• Direct involvement in the entire digital upgrade life cycle including feasibility studies, procurement specifications, design change packages, FAT/SAT test procedure development, installation, and testing.
• Knowledge of digital hardware and software components commonly used in digital I&C system platforms.
• Must be able to travel 15-25% of the time; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on complex engineering projects for modernization and operation of nuclear facilities.
• Develop engineering packages and perform technical analyses.
• Support testing activities and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions and mentor engineers.
• Plan and implement timely execution of engineering activities.
