Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. invites Senior and Principal Instrumentation & Controls SMEs to join its Nuclear Services Design Group. Lead digital I&C upgrade programs and guide engineering teams on modernizing nuclear facilities.

This role requires broad I&C expertise, a proven record with test plans, and the ability to travel 15–25% to client sites. You’ll collaborate with industry leaders to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient solutions across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (BSCSE) or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of I&C engineering experience in nuclear industry.
• 10+ years experience with development of test plans and detailed test instructions.
• Experience upgrading large-scale digital control and computer monitoring systems (DCS, PPC).
• Involvement in the entire digital upgrade life cycle: feasibility studies, procurement specs, design changes, FAT/SAT, etc.
• Willingness to travel 15–25% and US citizenship eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on complex engineering projects for modernization and operation of nuclear facilities.
• Develop engineering packages and perform technical analyses.
• Support testing activities and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineers.
• Ensure safety, reliability, and performance of nuclear facilities.
