Job summary

ENERCON's Nuclear Services Design Group is seeking Senior and Principal Instrumentation & Controls SMEs to help shape the future of nuclear engineering. You will provide technical leadership on complex projects, developing engineering packages and evaluating new technologies for safe, reliable operation.

The role covers ECP development, testing and analysis, system design and procurement, project collaboration, and regulatory compliance. Travel 15-25% across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of I&C engineering experience in the nuclear industry.
• Experience with development of test plans and detailed test instructions.
• Experience upgrading large-scale digital control and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory and industry digital upgrade standards.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract

Responsibilities

• Develop ECPs to replace analog I&C with modern computer-based systems.
• Support test plans and perform FMEA, uncertainty, and response-time analyses.
• Develop procurement specs for digital I&C systems and review OEM docs.
• Provide project estimates and collaborate with clients to execute engineering activities.
• Apply regulatory standards for digital I&C systems.
