Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking Senior and Principal Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) SMEs to join our Nuclear Services Design Group. The role focuses on leading digital I&C upgrades, testing, and regulatory compliance across multiple nuclear facilities. Travel 15–25% is expected, and U.S. citizenship is required.

You will collaborate with industry experts to deliver innovative solutions that enhance safety, reliability, and plant performance in a fast-growing sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (BSCSE), or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of I&C engineering experience in the nuclear industry.
• 10 years of experience with development of test plans and detailed test instructions.
• Experience in design, installation, and testing of large scale digital control and computer monitoring system upgrades.
• Willingness to travel 15-25% of the time; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on complex engineering projects for nuclear facilities.
• Develop engineering packages, perform analyses, support testing activities and emerging technologies.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions.
• Develop ECPs and documentation to replace obsolete analog I&C with modern digital systems.
• Ensure regulatory and standards compliance for digital I&C systems.
