Valar Atomics in Utah seeks a Principal Instrumentation & Controls Hardware Engineer to own architecture and technology direction for its reactor and nuclear fuel facilities. You will set risk-based design strategies, drive standards, and shape the engineering capability of the IC&E discipline with senior leadership.

You will collaborate across I&C software, process, electrical, mechanical, and nuclear safety engineers to deliver safe, reliable instrumentation solutions for a first-of-a-kind

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the I&C hardware architecture and technology roadmap across reactor program and fuel facilities.
• Own the discipline's standards program and drive standardization across projects.
• Represent the discipline to regulators, vendors, and industry groups; lead technical reviews and readiness activities.
