Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior Instrumentation & Controls engineer to lead digital I&C design for nuclear power projects. The role involves directing technical decisions within project teams and coordinating multi-discipline design work to meet stringent client requirements.

Qualifications

BS degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
12+ years in instrumentation and controls design engineering for heavy industrial plants.
Experience liaising with clients or project stakeholders.
Experience reviewing design drawings.

Responsibilities

Develop and market high level, complex programs for nuclear power projects.
Direct technical decision making in project teams.
Coordinate system design to meet specs, codes and client requirements.
Prepare and review equipment purchase specifications and design input documents.
Attend client meetings and site walkdowns to validate scope.
