Job summary

Impellam Group's PMC seeks a Lead I&C Engineer to manage all phases of project planning and execution, including DCS design, purchase, and commissioning. You will guide a matrixed team of engineers and ensure performance against scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.

The role requires a BS in Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 8+ years’ experience; a Master’s degree is a plus. Hybrid work model; travel possible. High emphasis on cyber security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering required; MS considered in lieu of BS.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security and NERC CIP regulations.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems; effective planning and scheduling.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design, planning, and execution across project phases.
• Manage DCS equipment purchase, design, and commissioning for each project.
• Provide engineering oversight to ensure contract and design criteria compliance.
• Support interconnection design, cost estimates, schedules, and risk analysis.
• Prepare technical reports and coordinate with a matrixed team of engineers.
