Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control engineer to lead design efforts on power plant projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through design, procurement, planning, and execution, ensuring safe and reliable operations of Balance of Plant systems.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 5 years of related I&C experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience in I&C engineering.
• Experience on power plant projects preferred; ability to lead studies and design activities.
• Ability to develop, validate, and present technical outputs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead role on major power plant projects guiding multidisciplinary I&C teams.
• Drive technical studies and detailed design for generation facilities and BOP systems.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams; mentor junior staff as needed.
