Job summary

MPR Associates, Inc. seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our Virginia or Connecticut office. The role provides technical leadership in control system engineering for power generation and industrial projects, including design, configuration, commissioning, and testing.

Candidates should have 4+ years of I&C experience, familiarity with DCS/PLC systems, and knowledge of IEEE/IEC/ISA standards. A US Person export control requirement applies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of I&C experience in Navy engineering roles.
• Experience with DCS/PLC systems.
• Familiarity with IEEE, IEC, and ISA standards.
• Export Control compliance: US Person required.

Responsibilities

• Leverage leadership in control system engineering, design, implementation, programming/configuration, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting for power plant controls and industrial systems.
• Provide technical support for power generation and subsystems with interfaces to control systems.
• Develop technical deliverables through evaluations, feasibility studies, and conceptual designs.
• Interface with clients to propose solutions and present capabilities.
• Ensure regulatory and cybersecurity compliance of projects.
• Mentor and lead technical staff.
