Duke Energy's Project Management and Construction (PMC) group seeks a Lead I&C Engineer to manage all phases of project planning and execution for control systems, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality targets are met. You will lead a matrixed team of engineers across DCS design, commissioning, and cyber security activities.

The role requires strong technical leadership, process knowledge and a track record of delivering complex control system projects within a large utility

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Engineering required or PE license.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
• PE license; master's degree can substitute for the B.S. degree.

Aufgaben

• Specify and procure Emerson DCS equipment and develop control logic; lead hardware/software factory acceptance testing.
• Support development of major project scope and EPC bid package.
• Coordinate interconnection design with Transmission and align contracts to scope.
• Support cost estimation, scheduling, risk analysis, bid evaluation and contract development.
• Provide engineering oversight to ensure compliance with project requirements and design criteria.
• Participate in design reviews, construction support, RFIs, commissioning support and warranty activities.
• Oversee site controls programming and cyber security assets.
• Ensure compliance with ISA, IEEE, NFPA, NERC and related standards.

Professional Engineer (PE) license
