Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Contract Manager to lead post-award contract administration and commercial leadership on a major hydropower project in the United States. Based at the customer site, you will coordinate with project leadership and cross-functional teams to protect contractual positions and ensure disciplined delivery.

You will manage notices, change orders, claims, and interfaces across planning, sourcing, finance, legal, and engineering, driving risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Business, Law or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Significant contract management and commercial experience on large infrastructure/construction projects.
• Post-award contract administration experience with multiple interfaces and high documentation rigor.
• Experience leading change orders, notices, and formal correspondence on active projects.
• Experience collaborating with planning, procurement, finance, and legal teams on delay analysis and cost/schedule impacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-award administration of the prime contract through closeout and warranty.
• Interpret contractual rights and communicate implications to the project team.
• Establish and maintain contract management procedures and escalation paths.
• Serve as the focal point for communications with customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Support development of substantiation packages, claims, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with planning and project controls on delay analysis and schedule entitlement.
• Monitor supplier and subcontractor obligations and related interfaces.
• Maintain commercial risk and issues log with owners and due dates.
• Prepare regular commercial status reports and support invoicing and turnover activities.
