Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Project Director to drive green-field pump storage projects in the US, ensuring on-time delivery and financial targets. The role centers on leading execution strategy, client engagement, team organization, and risk management within a large hydro power program.

Relocation to Phoenix, AZ is expected; extensive experience in power and project management is required, with a focus on safety, quality, and contract execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant Power industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience, including project execution, construction and onsite experience.
• Relocation to Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project execution strategy to achieve project performance goals.
• Represent GE Vernova to the customer and manage this interface.
• Organize project team and ensure clearly identified roles, responsibilities and interfaces.
• Monitor KPIs and take action to guarantee financial, time, quality and safety performance.
• Establish and monitor Project Quality Plan, Procedures and EHS Plan.
• Define strategy for claim management and lead actions accordingly.
• Define Risk Management Plan and monitor risks and opportunities.
• Own project from hand-over from Sales to completion and hand over to Service.
• Develop Master Time Schedule and manage project float to ensure timely completion.
• Lead, coach and develop the project team.
