Job summary

CDM Smith in South Florida is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to direct groundwater projects across the region, including brackish supplies and ASR systems. You will coordinate with civil, mechanical, hydraulics, electrical and I&C disciplines, prepare technical documents, and mentor junior staff.

You’ll engage with clients and regulatory agencies, contribute to strategic planning, and help develop scopes of work, budgets and proposals while ensuring quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline.
• Registration as a licensed Professional Geologist (ASBOG).
• 10 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional related experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Direct groundwater systems projects including brackish groundwater supply and ASR.
• Interface with multiple disciplines during design, development and construction.
• Prepare reports, letters, drawings and proposals; develop work scopes for drilling and testing.
• Contribute to knowledge management with white papers and design docs.
• Maintain client and regulator contacts; participate in professional organizations.
• Collaborate with sales to create proposals and act as primary client contact.
• Support project delivery with scoping, budgeting and client satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff; mentor for career growth.
