Job summary

Nxt Level Civil Engineering is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer specializing in groundwater management in a hybrid Miami-area role. You will lead groundwater projects, perform hydrogeological assessments, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize water resource strategies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil/Environmental Engineering, 3+ years of groundwater experience, and a PE license is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• PE license highly preferred.
• 3+ years in civil engineering with a focus on groundwater management.
• Strong background in hydrology, groundwater modeling, and environmental impact assessments.
• Proficient in using engineering software related to groundwater analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage groundwater projects including aquifer recharge and contamination remediation.
• Conduct hydrogeological assessments and develop innovative groundwater management solutions.
• Collaborate with environmental scientists, geologists, and policy makers on water resource strategies.
• Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal groundwater regulations.
• Provide technical guidance on groundwater issues to teams and clients.
• Prepare reports, proposals, and technical documents for groundwater projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff to foster a collaborative environment.
