Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Hydrogeologist to lead our Florida hydrogeology practice, supporting water supply, ASR, and groundwater projects across Florida and coordinating with Tampa, Sarasota, Fort Lauderdale, Miami-Dade, and West Palm Beach teams.

The ideal candidate brings Florida regulatory experience, strong client relationships, and the ability to mentor staff while pursuing strategic opportunities and growing the statewide practice.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hydrogeology or water resources experience.
• Florida PG or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with water supply wells, monitoring wells, DIW, UIC, or ASR.
• Florida regulatory/permitting experience.
• Project management and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor junior staff; support client proposals and permitting.
• Design, permit, and oversee construction of water supply, deep injection, and ASR wells.
• Provide QA/QC and technical oversight of field and design work.
• Act as Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver hydrogeology projects on schedule and budget.
• Lead or support business development across Florida with winning proposals and presentations.
• Develop scopes of work and budgets; prepare subconsultant agreements.
