Job summary

Stantec in Florida is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to grow and lead our Florida hydrogeology practice, supporting water supply, deep injection wells, ASR, monitoring wells, and groundwater projects across Florida while partnering with teams in Tampa, Sarasota, and beyond.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of hydrogeology or water resources experience, Florida PG or PE license (or ability to obtain within six months), and strong project management and client-facing skills, with regulatory

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hydrogeology or water resources experience.
• Florida PG or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with water supply wells, monitoring wells, DIW, UIC, or ASR.
• Florida regulatory/permitting experience.
• Project management and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor junior staff; support client proposals and permitting.
• Present and negotiate with clients; prepare technical proposals and reports.
• Design, permit, and oversee construction of water supply, deep injection, and ASR wells.
• Provide QA/QC review of field and design work by hydrogeologists.
• Manage projects to deliver on time and within budget.
• Support business development across Florida and contribute to winning proposals.
