Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to perform on-site service and maintenance of hydraulic systems and related equipment for customers, with regional responsibility and a 24/7 on-call expectation.

You will diagnose, repair, install and upgrade equipment at customer sites, provide technical training, communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, and mentor junior technicians on complex tasks.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and five (5) or more years of related experience.
• Experience reading hydraulic schematics and diagnosing equipment.
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site services, including emergency repairs and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Install, diagnose, repair, and support for equipment at customer sites.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Lead small to moderate projects at customer sites.
• Document findings and communicate with stakeholders.
