Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site service, repair, and installation of hydraulic systems and related equipment. You’ll diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and handle upgrades with regional responsibility for customer sites.

Qualifications

• Technical degree required; 0–3 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including emergency repairs and upgrades.
• Responsible for installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose problems, assess extent, document findings, and decide on repairs or part replacements.
• Conducts technical analysis of product implementations and enhancements per customer specs.
• Keeps customers informed and recommends system enhancements or repairs.
• Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; works under supervision.
• Provides technical support and training to customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
