Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform on-site service, installation, diagnostics and repairs for hydraulics and related equipment at customer sites. You will handle 24/7 on-call support, diagnose issues, replace parts, and document findings for customers.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree and 3–5 years of field experience, with strong hydraulics knowledge and excellent communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

Typically requires a technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to operate shop equipment safely.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site service, emergency repairs, and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
Install, diagnose, repair and support equipment at customer sites.
Assess problems, document findings, and decide on repairs or part replacements.
Provide technical analysis and communicate results to customers.
Support and train customers on operation and maintenance of systems.
