Job summary

CDW is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to develop complex Hybrid Infrastructure solutions for our customers. This field-based role drives strategic engagements, provides consultative guidance, and aligns technology with business objectives.

You will lead architectural visioning sessions, author SOWs and proposals for RFPs, and mentor solution architects while traveling as needed to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 14+ years in technical pre-sales or post-sale delivery.
• 10+ years of experience in technical, pre-sales or post-sales delivery roles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Expertise in Hybrid Infrastructure architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive Hybrid Infrastructure solutions, including architecture, optimization, assessments, and advisory services.
• Lead complex sales engagements, including authoring SOWs, proposals, and technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Analyze technical and competitive considerations to design scalable solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, internal sales teams, and delivery leadership.
• Drive technical enablement, knowledge sharing, and mentoring for Solution Architects and technical teams.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to go-to-market strategies.
