Job summary

You will manage refrigerant handling, coordinate field teams, and mentor junior technicians to ensure reliable operation. This role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration experience or 6+ years and an AAS in HVAC/R.
• Hold Type I and II or Universal EPA refrigerant handling certification.
• HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman where required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems and refrigeration units.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Manage refrigerant handling with OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Coordinate and mentor field teams with hands-on training.
• Maintain parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service schedules.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
