Job summary

Walmart seeks a Senior Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration, to lead installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems across commercial environments. You will diagnose complex issues, manage preventive programs, and supervise field teams to ensure safety and efficiency.

You will coordinate parts inventories, vendor relations, and service calls while supporting critical operations and adhering to OSHA/EPA standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration.
• Hold EPA Type I and II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman where required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems across sites.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
• Manage refrigerant handling in compliance with OSHA/EPA codes.
• Coordinate and mentor field teams; track service workloads and vendor relations.
