Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to join our on-site Property Management team in Indianapolis. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems across our single-family rental homes, providing proactive maintenance and exceptional resident service.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in general service, HVAC certification, EPA credentials, and the ability to work independently with basic tools and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC certification from a technical program preferred.
• EPA certification required for handling refrigerants.
• Experience maintaining residential systems and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems in single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service requests.
• Diagnose advanced issues and report major repairs before spending funds.
• Maintain property safety and adhere to regulations and policies.
• Interact professionally with residents and vendors as needed.
