Job summary

M.C. Dean in Washington, DC is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to support critical facilities.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize HVAC systems, boilers, chiller plant operations, and building automation controls in a government-secured environment. Under minimal supervision, you will mentor junior technicians, record faults, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to emergencies to protect occupants and property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of experience on complex HVAC systems.
• Candidate must meet security eligibility including U.S. citizenship for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC equipment; monitor BAS and critical systems.
• Inspect and maintain boilers, chillers, VAV, and life safety systems.
• Mentor less experienced technicians and document faults and maintenance actions.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety of occupants and property.
