Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Critical Facility Technician to maintain and repair complex HVAC systems in data centers, hospitals, and manufacturing plants. You will work with chillers, boilers, CRAC/CRAH units, and AHUs, with proficiency in reading diagrams and using CMMS.

Applicants should have 10+ years in critical facilities and must obtain/maintain a Secret clearance. EPA 608 certification and NITC Journey-Level HVAC exam within one year are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• 10+ years’ experience in critical facilities, incl. data centers or hospitals.
• 3+ years in direct critical facility operation.
• EPA 608 certification and NITC Journey-Level HVAC exam within 12 months.
• U.S. Citizenship for security clearance access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and operate complex HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, CRAC/CRAH, AHUs).
• Install/repair plumbing components (pumps, valves, piping).
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems in mission-critical environments.
• Monitor environmental systems via BMS platforms (Niagara Tridium, Siemens, Johnson Controls).
• Read diagrams and document work in CMMS.
