Job summary

M.C. Dean in Tysons, Virginia, is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex building systems, including chillers, direct expansion (DX) systems, and DLCs.

You will work on site to ensure reliable heating, cooling, and environmental control for critical facilities. The role requires 8+ years of HVAC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a Top Secret clearance with polygraph eligibility, or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with HVAC systems, chillers, DLCs, DX and related equipment.
• Security clearance: Top Secret with polygraph eligibility.
• Onsite skills assessment will be conducted during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor HVAC systems, equipment operations, and maintain logs.
• Mentor less experienced HVAC Technicians.
• Operate and maintain site-critical systems supplying heating, cooling, ventilation and environmental control.
• Proficiently work on chillers, DXs, and DLC systems.
• Develop training procedures and preventive maintenance plans.
• Respond to emergencies and protect occupants and property.
