Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support critical facilities with troubleshooting, maintenance and operation of HVAC equipment, chillers, boilers, VAV, and BAS systems.

The role requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance, along with a high school diploma and a 6+ year track record in complex HVAC environments; Journeyman license or EPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years HVAC experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Journeyman license or EPA Certification is highly preferred.
• HVAC technical training program or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and operate HVAC equipment per diagrams and manuals.
• Inspect and monitor engineering systems and equipment; log operations.
• Mentor less experienced HVAC Technicians.
• Operate and maintain site-critical engineering systems including BAS and life-safety equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and protect occupants and property.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, fire/Life Safety systems and related equipment.
