Job summary

Progress Residential in Houston, TX seeks a Service Technician III - HVAC to deliver outstanding resident service by inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems in our single-family homes. Requires high school diploma, HVAC and EPA certifications, and at least five years of general maintenance experience.

A valid driver’s license and own basic tools are required; on-call and weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC Certification is required or preferred and EPA Certification is required.
• Five years of general maintenance experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and resolve service requests while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment and report major repairs before expenditures.
• Ensure safety and compliance with policies and regulations.
