Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Service Technician III - HVAC to join our Property Management team in Houston, TX. The role requires diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems in single-family rental homes and performing related maintenance tasks.

You will inspect electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems, ensure safety and adherence to regulations, and provide excellent service to residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general service and maintenance.
• Technical College or Trade Program with HVAC Certification preferred.
• EPA Certification Required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in single-family homes.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and replacements as needed.
• Diagnose advanced issues and report major repairs before expenditures.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all job sites.
• Interact professionally with residents and vendors.
