Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to diagnose and service residential and light commercial systems. You will communicate with customers, perform maintenance, and promote additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong troubleshooting ability, EPA/safety certifications, and a valid driver's license. Candidates should be able to lift heavy items, work flexible hours, and operate tools and equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree/Certification in HVAC or related field or 4+ years of previous experience.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems; previous experience as an Installer, Maintenance, or Service Technician.
• EPA and safety certifications required.
• Proficient at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Minimum Experience: 4+ years Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and service work on residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Communicate with customers to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure satisfaction.
• Promote products and services to customers and coordinate with dispatch.
• Analyze and resolve issues to prevent callbacks and escalate when needed.
• Record all required information on a handheld device and complete forms accurately.
• Maintain safe driving practices and proper handling of tools and parts.
• Work with field supervisors and managers to meet service targets and quality standards.
