Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HVAC Branch Service Manager to lead day-to-day service operations and a dedicated team. You will ensure customer satisfaction and financial performance, while promoting safety and process discipline across the branch.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' service experience in managing service operations and/or dispatch/scheduling.
• 5+ years HVAC commercial industry experience with increasing responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and detail skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with internal and external clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with tact and persistence.
• Ability to prioritize work by financial impact on business goals.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with project accounting or costing principles.
• Ability to represent Johnson Controls professionally to diverse teams.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
• Experience with Service Management software and financial accounting systems.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent HVAC industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Owns day-to-day tactical local HVAC service business and ensures customer satisfaction and financial targets.
• Fosters a safety-first culture for the branch and ensures adherence to processes.
• Drives service business processes and supports forecasts and performance metrics.
• Supervises service staff including account management, asset management, invoicing, and service orders.
• Provides coaching and implements standard methodologies across teams.
• Maintains delivery standards aligned with BSNA objectives for profitable growth.
• Addresses problems with training, resources, and process improvements.
• Collaborates with Truck Based Service Managers and Customer Service Reps to optimize operations.
